System requirements

Minimum specifications for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Repair Shop is lightweight - it uses your system’s built-in web engine rather than shipping its own, so it stays small and fast. These are the minimum specifications to run it comfortably.

All computers

Processor64-bit dual-core (x86-64 or ARM64), 1.6 GHz or faster
Memory4 GB RAM minimum · 8 GB recommended
Storage300 MB free for the app · 1 GB+ recommended so your repair history, photos and database can grow
Display1280 × 768 or larger · scales for HiDPI / Retina, and you can adjust the display size in Settings
InternetNeeded only for one-time licence activation and optional updates & customer notifications - everyday use is fully offline

Windows

VersionWindows 10 (version 1803 / April 2018) or Windows 11
Architecture64-bit - x64 or ARM64
RuntimeMicrosoft Edge WebView2 - installed automatically if missing (already present on Windows 11)

macOS

In short: almost any computer bought in the last 8–10 years running an up-to-date operating system will run Repair Shop without trouble.
